Grounded Roots Family Development Center was created for families who:

Suspect their child may have Autism or ADHD
Are impacted by special needs parenting
Are experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, or other perinatal mood disorder
Have stress around raising young children

We empower families though collaborative parent education, childhood developmental assessments (such as Autism and ADHD), and maternal mental health counseling.

Autism & Childhood Assessment

I offer comprehensive evaluations specifically for children. Developmental concerns may include Autism (testing starting at age 2) and/or ADHD (testing typically starting around age 5). My goal is to help parents gain a clearer picture of their child’s unique skills and needs. Actionable steps forward, and individualized family recommendations are provided at the end of each assessment, whether or not your child receives a diagnosis.

Maternal Mental Health

I specialize in the education, identification, and treatment of a variety of Perinatal Mental Health concerns including birth trauma, depression, anxiety, postpartum OCD, special needs parenting, and more.
I carry a small therapy caseload, in which I exclusively see maternal mental health clients. In-person and virtual appointments are available. I see virtual clients residing in the state of Texas. Please call for availability.
I am passionate about educating the public about perinatal mental health. I offer speaking engagements on maternal mental health for professional conferences or continuing education trainings.
